David Price sold the club to Sanyo Foods in 1991 and signed a contract to have American Golf manage the club.
On March 16, 1991, the clubhouse was demolished, and work on a new building began. In January, the cart barn was destroyed by fire that fortunately was contained and did not spread to the new clubhouse. A new facility was built, and a new fleet of carts were brought in after the project was complete. With the new improvements to the course and clubhouse, the competitive season at the club flourished.
